I direct this mail to the developers list as it emerges from LyX
1.0.0pre8, thus possibly interesting
- sorry if its a RTFM issue (which I tried to find out, of course, incl.
BUGS (1.9) & mail archives lists).
I got the impression that trying to give table columns a width (in table
layout popup) results in LyX
somewhat "randomly" adding those data to the exported LaTeX file or not
(the "p{}" part).
The LyX screen always shows entered data as expected.
Please see the attached LyX & LaTeX files (equal numbers correspond) -
the "tabular" lines.
Plus an item for the VC wish list: I regularly check out with "co -zLT
-kv <RCSfile>", which seems
more appropriate than having all those keywords in the printout (you can
do much more with the raw
data). A short look at the source gave me the impression that someone
knowledgeable could add it via "cut&paste" in a minute - I returned to
LyX after some years and am just learning, so won't try myself right
now - help with documentation might become an issue when I've updated
myself, the "PR" related mails of jan22-25 seem to be on track.
After all: congratulations for what has been achieved for now - I stay
tuned.
