I made a fresh install into an old IBM Thinkcentre 8187-73G with Intel 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller. I installed Lubuntu 14.04.1 from the desktop iso file and updated/dist-upgraded it. The only tweak I tested was UXA acceleration. Section "Device" Identifier "Intel Graphics" Driver "intel" Option "AccelMethod" "uxa" EndSection The computer works and seems not affected by this bug (with a clean up to date Lubuntu 14.04). ----- *-display description: VGA compatible controller product: 82865G Integrated Graphics Controller vendor: Intel Corporation physical id: 2 bus info: pci@0000:00:02.0 version: 02 width: 32 bits clock: 33MHz capabilities: pm vga_controller bus_master cap_list rom configuration: driver=i915 latency=0 resources: irq:16 memory:f0000000-f7ffffff memory:e8000000-e807ffff ioport:1800(size=8) ----- Best regards Nio -- Lubuntu-users mailing list Lubuntu-users@lists.ubuntu.com Modify settings or unsubscribe at: https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/lubuntu-users
