Yes, very much possible...just partition your second hdd 
appropriately, and install the lilo bootloader on the mbr..

A decent partitioning schme could be 
/boot = 25MB
/ = 250MB
/home = 800MB
/var = 400MB
/usr/local = 1GB
/usr = rest of disk
