[LIH] Can i install linux in the secondary HDD ??

I am having two harddisks - 20 GB (primary) and 6.5 GB (secondary).
I have windows installed in 20Gb HDD. Now i want to install linux in the
other HDD because i don't want to disturb the windows partitions. 

Is it possible to install linux in the secondary HDD? If possible, tell me
