meanwhile, i'm still not able to connect my linux box through this samsung
eht-a300 modem... i'm going to retry some things suggested a couple days ago
.. everyone says my settings are ok but it's not working...

also, what was the .dat file that was attached a couple days ago? i wasn't
able to decypher it...
