Mmm, I'd misread your version number as 20100918 and thought it was rather newer than it actually was. I've been successfully booting the beta, which is here (20100830): http://releases.linaro.org/platform/linaro-m/headless/beta/ (It occurs to me that it would be a good idea to have some automated testing of booting the daily snapshots under qemu.
