I'd expect that with Strg-Click the magnifier pops up (the current behaviour, and when I have clicked on an editable object instead of the page background the corresponding editing functionality is started.

I think (hope) that in such a constellation it wouldn't be _that_ much extra brainwork to suggest a solution when the two slurred notes are in different voices.
