If I follow correctly, you explained the warning message, as opposed to
the cause of the missing beams.
I ask because the missing-beams problem (changing as it did with the
unrelated add-stem-support) really does smell like an uninitialized
variable.
I'll post each bug example individually to bug-lilypond.
