I'm downloading the last couple of releases now in order to try a "mini-bisect".
I would very strongly suspect 2.23.10 with https://gitlab.com/lilypond/lilypond/-/merge_requests/1409but the question is whether that MR had a problem or the problem is preexisting and was uncovered.
