Though I much prefer the centred-on-stem look (which seems to be favoured by French publishers), if I had to choose an off-centre position, I'd plump for 0.5. > Great! I think it's a bit too limited to be included in the source, since it only allows you to override one articulation at a time; furthermore, if a particular script has a default in scripts.scm (as suggested for staccato), it will ignore any override. Including it in an LSR snippet probably wouldn't do any harm though.
