            Bug ID: 171566
Summary: How to get File > Recent Documents to show most
recently saved documents instead of most recently
                    opened documents
           Product: LibreOffice
           Version: 25.8.5.2 release
          Hardware: All
                OS: macOS (All)
            Status: UNCONFIRMED
          Severity: enhancement
          Priority: medium
         Component: Writer
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]

Description:
I would like to find a way in LibreOffice Writer for File > Recent Documents to
show the most recently saved documents instead of the most recently opened
documents. I'm on a Mac.

The reason for the request: I often open other documents to look for a piece of
information for the document I'm currently working on, and I don't make any
changes to those other documents or save them, I just grab the piece of info I
need and close it. The next day when I open LibreOffice Writer again and try to
navigate to the most recent document I *worked on* (not *looked at*), it's
buried incredibly far down or doesn't even appear in the list of Recent
Documents.

I would like to be able to do this from within Libre rather than Mac Finder or
elsewhere on my Mac for reasons too long to go into here, but which are
nevertheless valid. :)

Actual Results:
Go to File > Recent Documents and you will see a list of the most recently
opened documents.

Expected Results:
The expected result is the above; that's why I'm requesting an enhancement to
give us a choice to show recently saved documents instead, or barring that, to
just show most recently saved documents as the default.

Reproducible: Always

User Profile Reset: No

Additional Info:
I would like to go to File > Recent Documents and see a list of the most
recently saved documents (e.g. the files I have actually worked on) rather than
a list of the most recently opened documents (e.g. the files I have looked at).
