I know of the pinning but have requested this feature specifically because I
have a condition that is visually triggered by cluttered and busy environments
with a lot of contrast, etc. (It's vestibular migraines in which the primary
symptom is vertigo rather than pain.) I was able to set up Writer so the Start
Centre (busy / tons of huge icons / high contrast) doesn't come up and trigger
this. That's what I was trying not to go into just for brevity but believe me,
it's real.

Regarding closing my working document last: I would love that but how would
that work? Is the File > Recent Documents menu programmed to show the last X
number of closed documents, instead of the last X number of opened documents,
different than Microsoft Word? (Which I just switched from) But if it will
work, I would love it!

Btw, I absolutely love Libre Writer; SO much better than Word! Total quality of
life improvement, epsecially re: my condition. :)
