Hi vic,

I think I could have been a little more specific;

I rarely need to expand the columns because they are mostly helper column
formulae that I won't be changing this century but they must be included in
fill-downs, so leaving them as 1 pixel ensures they copy and also provides the
partial overflow arrrow visual indication that there are indeed "active" cells
in the array
I only have grouped rows in the "header/dashboard" to maximise the onscreen
data area. Like you, I prefer to have the simple control and absolute
indication of rarely touched rows
Like you, any real content in grouped columns is already a lesson learned -
ensure I expand everything relevant before breaking it ;)
