Hi vic, I have the same procedure and found a reasonable compromise: Instead of grouping and hiding, I now select the rows or cells I would like to hide and redefine them as 1 pixel wide or deep. Not quite the functionality we would expect from grouping as it's necessary to manually reinstate the metrics but it does fix the failure to copy or fill AND permits an albeit less elegant definition of the desired frequently viewed arrays. Probably too clumsy if you are hiding single, "randomly distributed" columns or rows I don't understand why it was declared as NOT A BUG. It should have been an opportunity to introduce a simple additional parameter to the definition of grouping - SHOULD THE HIDDEN CELLS BE UPDATED BY AUTO ACTIONS? Then the user controls the choice, not some faceless OASIS individuals who originally POORLY defined the requirement and don't have the nous to admit they were mistaken. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
