I don't have any of those machines, and I've never installed these keymaps so I can't look at what they contain.
The arch wiki ( https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Map_scancodes_to_keycodes ) suggests this perhaps only applies to xorg (the 'media' keys added beyond "standard" keyboards, if I'm reading it right), in which case BLFS would be a better place to offer it as an option. In udev up to 182, these were available if people added the dependencies. Now (wearing my BLFS hat) we're removing the ability to build them. Since Armin has offered a way to do it, I think BLFS should take it (of course, he can add it himself, as an optional patch if necessary, once LFS has the new version). A single Makefile with all the options would, however, be nice. ĸen -- das eine Mal als Tragödie, das andere Mal als Farce -- http://linuxfromscratch.org/mailman/listinfo/lfs-dev FAQ: http://www.linuxfromscratch.org/faq/ Unsubscribe: See the above information page
