I can vouch for the hatred...being a British citizen yet living in the
States as a resident alien for the last 20 some years...I'm really a mongrel
of the last two most powerful nation states...I'm
"British-American"...hated by everyone worldwide.
It's the nature of the beast that everyone hates the biggest dog on the
block...Greeks, Romans, Papists, Spanish, French, British, American...each
was loathed by the rest of the World while in "power".
One thing everyone does love about Americans/America is their money! Hell,
if there's a starving country or a natural disaster the U.N. and other
countries fall over themselves trying to grab the almighty dollar. "help us,
help us, give us a blank check, admit it's all your (America's) fault and
then piss off!"
Oh yeah...and the movie industry:-)
Yes, jealousy really is a powerful driving force.
