Hi Øystein,

Linux has a couple of nice apps that come as standard with KDE.  
Kwikview is my preference. So if you get rid of poxy old Windows... ;-)

On the GPS issue I have a Garmin Nuvi 350 which comes with maps of  
Europe. It's small, neat and battery lasts for ages. The maps aren't  
quite as nice as the Tom Tom, but the hardware's nicer and Tom Tom are  
****s!
