FFS Dave, no that's wrong, again.

You're right about the whether he should be manager now or not bit. As
Raffe said, that's opinion and we are all entitled to ours, you and us.
Noone is right or wrong when it comes to an opinion. However I like to feel
that I adequately justify my reasoning for believing he should be given a
chance, something I feel is missing at times from the other side of the
argument.

If we are struggling come autumn, AS I HAVE SAID NUMEROUS TIMES BEFORE, I
will want him out too. Im not saying he should be given a full season. Im
saying he should be given the chance this season, but if it appears that we
are struggling then its time to get rid.

You accuse me of being patronising, do you blame me? I don't think I can
make my position much clearer, but Im continually forced to repeat myself on
the matter.

The main areas where we disagree are;

1. Whether KB should be manager now, ie should he have a chance to take us
on this season.
2. The incessant picking of holes in every single action KB does and does
not take, and using that as 'evidence' of his uselessness.

Most of the time I take a devil's advocate stance on point 2. I thought it
was pretty strange that Livermore was sold within a few days, however I did
not automatically assume 'gee, that Blackwell is totally clueless, he
doesn't know what he is doing'. I assumed that there must be a good reason
for it, and, for me, the fact we had signed another midfielder who KB
obviously deems a better player was a good enough reason. It wasn't
necessarily good business, it wasn't necessarily bad business, it was
business.

I guess what Im saying is that I think a fair few people are cheesed off at
the constant negative spin put on every single action that KB takes these
days.

You didn't see a barrage of emails when it happened saying "wow, KB is
great, what fantastic business".

What you did get was a reaction to the predictable "wow, this shows how
clueless he is, what crap business" emails.

You do have a spectacularly patronising manner Mark.

What the 'argument' is about is a matter of spin. Another spin is:

Rich and me think Blackwell should have been got rid of as manager.
Mark thinks Blackwell should still be manager (whether you want to append
"given a chance" is irrelevant, you either think he should be manager or
not).

If we are struggling come the autumn, Rich and me are right (we don't want
to be, but we would be), and Mark would be wrong.

We gave a Reid a chance as manager as we felt we ought to after he kept us
up. That was proven to be a wrong decision.

Anyhow, I'll take my bat home now, as this has run its course really and is
getting too negative - we all ultimately want Leeds to win.

Thanks Sean, that's exactly it and hopefully its short and sweet enough for
people to now understand what the argument is actually all about!
