He was deemed good enough AT THE TIME HE WAS BOUGHT.

It really is as simple as that.

The opportunity presented itself to UPGRADE the squad, and KB took that now.
Would you rather he didn't get Nicholls in at all? Or got them in but left
Livermore in the reserves (when you lot would have been slagging KB off for
buying someone and never giving them a chance like Harding)?

As for feeling sorry for players - after the way LUFC has been shafted over
the last few years I don't feel sorry for any of them.

At the end of the day Livermore could have said he wanted to stay put, but
he decided he would rather go to Hull for first team football. You cant
exclusively cancel a contract or make someone sign one. It has to be a
mutual decision. In other words Livermore agreed to go.

Losing or gaining on the deal is not the point, correct. The point is
getting the best possible team/side to play for us this season, and to do
that KB had to sell Livermore. THAT'S the point.

Not really, I think we've treated Livermore like shit. If he wasn't good
enough, we shouldn't have gone for him. And there's no chance we've made
money on the deal, maybe we didn't lose too much, but that's not the point.
I think it's just a sign of bad skills in the transfer market, and yet
another example of the reasons I don't like Blackwell.

Did you ever say that on the list?

If he has now gone, and we made a few quid on the deal, you'd be happy then
presumably?
