Bollocks.

When we signed him he was good enough to play because we didn't have many
other central midfielders and it looked like we weren't going to be able
to get the ones we wanted.

Then we can, so KB's able to face facts and get shut swiftly.  FFS, last
two seasons everyone's had a go at him for sticking by Gregan because he
can't admit he's wrong.

It's not ideal, but this isn't Championship Manager - you can only sign
players who are available at a given time.

At the moment it seems like everything Blackwell does is given a negative
slant by the fans.  I've even seen him blamed for Nicholls' knee injury!

To be honest, I'm rather excited about the other midfielder that's coming
in and relieved that Nicholls' scan result obviously isn't as bad as a lot
of us feared.
