I can't believe people are defending this startlingly bad piece of business
and management.
We had 2 and a half months to make our signings for next season from a

Blackwell always said he was compiling from about xmas last season and

must have included Livermore (we were linked with him nearly all last

But just because we want to sign someone at a given time doesn't mean we
can... and obviously by holding out for choices A & B you run the risk of
losing out on choice C.
I think this is a brave decision, and done in the best interests of the
club. Let's see who the new signing is. When we find out, if you would
really prefer Livermore then fair play to you. I suspect the deal wouldn't
have happened if Nicholls wasn't due back in the next few weeks as opposed
to months. They will have got the scan result today.
This is utterly appalling management and makes us look like an absolute
joke
as a club. Anyone who defends this has clearly lost the ability to be
objective and has dropped into a bunker "defend Blackwell at all costs"
mentality.
As opposed to the attack Blackwell at all costs mentality?
We are becoming a bad joke, our squad is a mess (anyone fancy a game in
net
on Saturday?)
I think Sullivan would have something to say about that.
and the only bright side is I am going to cash in only the
very generous 3/1 odds available on betfair for a Norwich win on Saturday.
Roll on the sacking, but who will want to come and work for Bates?
Good question. But you want rid of Blackwell, so you answer it.
