1. England were terrible.
2. The ref says that he was sent off for his first offence. Both were
Red Cards. All done in front of the ref.

If the defender handnt been chipping away at his ankles, climbing all
over him and pulling him back it wouldn't have happened. If Carvalho
doesn't want people stepping on his nads then he shouldn't pull them
onto him.
Ronaldo is a cunt, always was. He can play ok but his step-overs are
plain ridiculous, do you see Ronaldinho doing 5 step-overs just for the
sake of it? No.
He also, like the rest of their team, writhed around like a shot eel
every time someone touched them, and often when someone didn't. They
also get lary when an oppo player does the same to them. In short they
are cheating dirty little fuckers.
England actually weren't complete crap in that game. They played OK up
until Rooney got sent off, and after that they were the better side.
Portugal certainly did not play any better than England, and lets not
forget they were playing against 10 men for an hour in conditions that
suited them a lot better from the start. And yet they still couldn't
score. England had the better chances, despite being without their
captain on the pitch, or their first and second choice strikers on the
pitch, AND their much vaunted central midfield pairing of Gerrard and
Lampard playing total crap.
All that said, what does it tell you about Portugal apart from they are
cheats and could only beat us via penalties?
