I've always had problems playing Portugese teams - they love gratuitously
dishing it out but are the biggest load of whingers going if you look like
standing up to them. I got my only red card against the Portugese of
Clermont Ferrand 2 years ago after the entire team + management + a couple
of hundred supporters + a Portugese linesman all swore black was white and
that I'd punched someone who was conveniently lying on the deck.
As Rooney is claiming, I definitely didn't punch him ;)
And as I'd waited until play was at the other end of the pitch no one could
possibily have seen what happenned ;)))
