Anyone think theres a bit of a chicken & egg scenario here? If more people attended it would generate the revenue required to fund a promotion effort, and therefore no need to raise prices?
Fundamental issue here is how elastic is the demand. I actually don't think that Bates personally should bankroll the club. If we get promoted and the pennies start rolling in then I even think he is entitled to sell up at a profit and bugger off. My worry is they will stretch the elastic a bit too much.
