Ricketts was signed by one of the directors as part of the Viduka deal - I'm not sure Blackwell wanted him or rates him - hence the fact that for most of last season Deane played in preference to Ricketts and this season, even though he's been fitter and thinner he's been out on loan all season. Harding has potential, and was slowly improving. He was a Bosman and we got shafted by the trbunal. I can't think of one, really. Matty Piper from Sunderland? Andy Gray? So "successful" signings: Bennett, Sullivan Cresswell Blake Healy Hulse Derry Beckford?
