Oh and before everyone "goes off on one"........

For the record, I would dearly love England to win the World Cup, yeah, I'd never hear the end of it, but it would be fantastic.  My gripe is, the whole England setup is treated by the vast majority of it's current players as a "career progression" rather than the honour it should be when pulling on the "Three Lions".

I will always support England, unless they are playing Northern Ireland and possibly Spain (if my missus is about).

And if you think Northern Ireland are the weakest team in the British Isles, check your history books.  3 times @ WC's and progressed to second stage in 2 (Not bad for a country with considerably less people than the other nations).  Has Scotland ever progressed?  And bloody Wales has only been there once, back in 1958, which is even further back than 1966!

NORN IRON!

There's more heart in the Northern Ireland Team than that over-paid bunch of @rseholes who don't give a flying [EMAIL PROTECTED] about the "Three Lions". FACT.
I think you'll find that was proven last September.
Oh and by the way, I was alive in the 1980's oh and back in September also.  Were you born in before the WC in 1966?

Just wondering...

Does anyone else spot the irony in the Norn Irish whinging on with everyone else that England go on about 1966 too much, and then spending their entire lives living off their British Championship win in the 1980's (when everyone had long ceased to care about it) and now clearly adopting the win in Belfast (which didn't actually ultimately affect England at all) as their latest decade long brag.

"No disrespect but Northern Ireland are the worst team of all the home
nations and ROI."

Aye, they're that shit they beat the mighty England........
