Yes but isn't that the point. Why would a ref want any such "right" ? For
what purpose ? What does it acheive except spoiling the game ? Have we lost

No argument with that but that would just highlight why the first sending
off should not have taken place. Totally spoiling the game because you have
taken action previously that wasn't necessary, only compounds the situation.
