how can you say you admired Ridsdale's handling of the Istanbul situation?
After what had happened the night before (murders) the Turks made our
players get off their coach outside the ground and do the chicken run
through thier supporters? Watching them young lads that night I felt so
sorry, they were scared shitless and none of this was worth a game of
football.
No minute's silence, I'd have told the lads to pack their gear and come
home. Seriously, I wouldnt have played the match. I havent seen him banging
on about the Turks judicial handling of this either.
I now reside in Barnsley and around FA cup draw time he said repeatedly in
the local rag that he wanted them to play us so they could "stuff" us.
The man is a c*nt and damaged us for years to come. He wants us to go up to
ease his guilt.

Ok so he made some dodgy decisions - still the best time I've had as a
Leeds fan & I'll always remember how well he handled the Istanbul
situation. Plus, first & foremost he has always been a Leeds fan.
Whilst on that note, did I miss the annual minutes silence for Kevin &
Chris or has it been dropped by the club? Is this the first year we
didn't have one? I remembered at the time (early April) but forgot to
ask.
