Eric - you are of course correct about the possible consequences of course.
But this is the bloke who said we didnt need a fan rep on the board because
we had him on it. Dont get me going about UEFA, Gala had the success they
wanted and f*ck how they did it. All I'm saying is that a Leeds fan thinking
from his heart would have told them to have the tie and brought the lads
home. Ironically he would then have been a hero for ever.
I also realise I am a minority view on this.

as much as you dislike ridsdale and all that it would have landed LUFC
in much more trouble to not play the game. we could have been
reprimanded by UEFA and fined etc etc.
knowing the UEFA they d probably fined us, kicked us out of
competition and granted the turks a walkover..

Fair comment. I was refering to his actions on the night itself, when
he went to the hospital & paid for treatment etc
I still stand by my other comment - I had the best times as a Leeds
fan in that period & wouldn't swap "living the dream" for anything.
After a season of "can't be arsed", "shall I renew?" etc., I can't
believe how wound up I am about Sunday - it's frightening how much is
riding on this match.
