Phill, I can't believe you think Ridsdale did what he did at the
hospital for publicity! He was 100% Leeds fan, and one that went to
games, do you honestly think that in that situation at that moment in
time he'd use the murder of two fellow Leeds fans for his own
publicity? I think a lot of what he did round that time was daft but
I wouldn't accuse him of gaining publicity from Kevin & Chris' deaths.
With hindsight, him shelling out on players was weird. At the time,
the only one I thought anything odd about was £11m for Robbie Fowler.
I didn't think we needed another striker and it seemed a lot of money
- however, I (like most others) trusted the man in charge - we were on
the way up, if he said we could afford it who am I to question it.
Never again!! Lesson learnt, albeit too late!
Christ two days to go. Don't think my nerves will stand it!
