Not exactly. They should have got first refusal on him, and never had the option. They only agreed to him leaving before the end of his contract if they had first refusal on his return.
No idea what the amount they are claiming is? Is it the remaining years on his old contract? You would have thought that actually they should be doing Harris directly, not Bradford, unless they are saying he was their player and it was therefore an illegal approach by Bradford. > -----Original Message----- > From: Roy Blackwell [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: 28 April 2006 19:12 > To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Cc: [email protected] > Subject: RE: Leeds Rhinos was [LU] Leeds All Time XI > > Yes Leeds are still pressing - but judgement hasn't been finalised yet - > in > essence they are asking for compo for someone they didn't want! > > Robbie Paul, Rob Parker, Stuart Reardon, Leon Pryce all went - Karl Pratt > also retired > > > From: "Mark Humphries" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> > To: "'John Lee'" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,"'Roy Blackwell'" > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,<[EMAIL PROTECTED]>,<[EMAIL PROTECTED] > .co.uk> > CC: <[email protected]> > Subject: RE: Leeds Rhinos was [LU] Leeds All Time XI > Date: Fri, 28 Apr 2006 16:01:31 +0100 > > Actually I meant to ask the same question. > > > > Along with asking, if they are so hard up then how could they afford to > take > both Bai and Calderwood off the Rhinos on higher wages?
