Here's a headscratcher. Client complained of outbound calls not completing.
Unsure of any particular event that caused onset of problem. We went out and
started at d-marc. Clean calls from d-marc with no problem whatsoever.
Moving into residence (one CO, seven extensions, caller ID, no VM) we did
several calling tests and discovered strange behavior. Every call coming in
rang with no hesitation and was answered successfully. Varying the timing of
the button presses did produce some completed calls. EVERY redial call was
completed, with no exceptions. This led us to believe that there was either
a DTMF timing issue with the system or that the DTMF controller was corrupt.
A power-cycle did not produce any changes in behavior. Any ideas? We have a
624 temporarily installed and working perfectly.
