Thanks for all the suggestions on testing line voltage, getting the phone
company involved, etc.

Unfortunately we haven't been able to schedule a service call with the
customer yet, and are hoping to have some kind of interim solution to put in
place next time we visit. The problem may take some time to clear up if the
phone company has to be involved, and the customer is quickly losing his
patience since the complete replacement of his KXT-624 did not solve the
problem.

Does anyone know of any devices that can detect an incoming call and
generate a full ring, whether or not the incoming call signal is interrupted
or weak? We're hoping to install such a device between the verizon NID and
the KXT-624 on all incoming lines, hoping that it will cause the system
phones to ring normally instead of clipping off when the verizon line
voltage fails (assuming that is the problem).

Thanks again,

Rob H.
