Has anybody had a single CO remain lit as if it was occupied when it was not.
I have had it happen on 2 different TDA100s and today had it happen on a
TDA50. The customer called and said none of his calls were getting thru. When I
arrived I found that nobody was on line 1 but it showed it to be occupied. I
then took that port out of service and put it back in service and it was fine.
There was no alarm light on the system. I had this happen on a TDA100 that I
never did figure out what it was, I believe it had to do with the electric
because when I was having this problem there was an Electrician working on the
electric for about a month and that was when it was happening often. I put a
UPS
but he had finished at this point and the problem was gone. This past summer
the
client had a dip in power and it happened again even with the UPS. I had
another client have the same thing during the power problems during the summer
and
I reset the port and it cleared. Once the power problems were over the
problems went away. Panasonic could not determine the problem. I had the dial
into
the PBX and they pulled some info but never came up with anything. None of the
techs have ever heard of this happening. I had installed surge protectors on
the phone lines also and that didn't prevent it. I am curious if I am the only
one this has happened too. If you have had this happened or if you know why it
is happening I would appreciate the feed back.
Thank You
Joe
