Well, no one has answered this yet, so I will throw in a few tidbits.

The KX-TD193 CID card included with the KX-TD-1232-7 receives CID (CPID) on CO (i.e. POTS) lines 1-4. You may add another card to receive CID data on lines 5-8. If you have the 4-CO line card installed (not possible with T1, ISDN-BRI, or ISDN-PRI card), you can install a card to receive CID on lines 9-12.

AFAIK, the KX-TD1232 does not directly support receiving CID information on a T1 line, unless there is ISDN-PRI service running on the T1 (which uses a different card). Even then, KX-TD1232 does not support ISDN-PRI very well -- it only supports National NI-1, and does not yet support National NI-2 (CID number & name).

For more information, You could search the archives for T1, ISDN-PRI etc.

Now that the KX-TDA series is being sold for larger installations, one wonders if Panasonic will continue improving ISDN-PRI or ISDN-BRI for the KX-TD series.

Sender: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Hello all,

Due to a hardware failure on my 1232-5, I had to upgrade to a 1232-7 today.
One of the features I understand that it has is built-in callerid for 4
lines. I have a T1 plugged into this KSU via a KX-TD187 T-1 Card.

Has anyone figured out if it's possible to get the first four lines off the
T1 work with the built-in callerid of the 1232-7?

Thanks,
Neil
