I'll disagree. A direct solution, avoiding the digital to analog
to digital to analog ears, is the best way to go...

...IF, and only IF, you can get such going. I infer that is not
trivial with KX-T's.

But if you have no experience "talking T" much less dealing the
KXT's complexiTy, that's a big issue.
