The reason the KXTD manuals are not available in PDF (legal copies from Panasonic that
is) is because it is a Certified Dealer Only product. The KX-TVS and the KX-TA
systems are not.

Most certified dealer products try to keep some of the technical information from
getting into the wrong hands to try to support those dealerships who actually
advertise sell, support and represent the product in a professional manner. It is not
done to piss off the hand full of do-it-yourselfers who think they are being ripped
off.

There are a few PDF versions available for purchase on line as well as numerous sites
that probably illegally sell the copyrighted materials without the written consent
required by Panasonic. One of these days they will get caught selling and copying
these protected documents and pay the price!

We can only look forward to the day when the new systems come out and Panasonic makes
it part of the the new certification agreement that Internet sales be restricted as
many others are doing currently. Ever try to buy a Panasonic DBS system (New
equipment) on-line? I understand it is being discussed by many as a way to better
support the dedicated dealerships who rely on protected territories to survive.

Its the way all quality products, furniture and other merchandise is going to go. It
is just to costly for the manufacturers not to have committed companies support their
products in the field.
