Since you are talking about the AN-3 bolts, I do not think anyone has.
When I installed my WAF's, I filled the holes with epoxy, to seal and
bond the bolts, to become one with the spar. Yes, lots of epoxy came
out when inserting the bolts, but I know all of them are carrying the
load from the WAF's into the wooden spar. John Shaffer N455JS
