Hello Stef, After 2 blowouts on the KR-2S (and wheel pant damage) within a week I changed from the smaller tires to the 500 x 5 tires and haven’t had any problems since. Smaller tires are lighter but if they aren’t rating for the weight and speed you will have a blowout eventually. Combine that with the fact that you have no steering when one tire goes it’s not worth it in my opinion.
