There are at least 50 of those sites which detail almost all aspects of typical KR construction, many in excruciating detail. Perhaps you should start by reading the plans, searching the links at KRnet to see what kind of construction details you can find under each of the "Projects Under Construction" and "Completed KRs" headings. If you can't find anything there regarding any given specific aspect of KR building, I'd be quite surprised. And then there are the old KR Newsletters. There are thousands of pages of similar information, complete with photos and drawings. Some of this stuff is outdated, but many of the construction ideas that are now commonplace came from these old newsletters. The link to those is at http://www.krnet.org/newsletter/ . Specifically, http://www.krnet.org/newsletter/kr_newsletter.pdf will get them all in one file, but give it a few minutes to download. If you don't have time or willpower to do the research and finish the plane, then yes, perhaps it's time to pass Tim Brown's very nice start on a KR2S down to someone who is willing to finish the plane and fly it some day...
