I did plumb bobs and the angle, and could find no discernable error
between the measurements. If the plane's not level, no method is going
to be accurate, plumb bobs included.
There are lots of ways to do this, and room for error in all of them.
We all have our favorites, so I'll just stick with mine, you'll stick
with yours, and we're all happy.. The most important thing is for folks
to do an accurate weight and balance. Failure to do so, thinking "I
built it by the plans and it should be close enough" is extremely
dangerous. Several folks have been killed this way, with lots of planes
damaged, sometimes repeatedly. It's just not worth the risk....
