Hi All I have always used Odyssey batteries I change them every 6 years and use the old one in my ride on mower . I find if you use a battery charger for gel cell batteries and leave attached to the battery when not using the plane for a period of 2 weeks or more it keeps the battery topped up. Also, when you buy a battery check the Manufacture date sometimes they can be old stock I have see up to 25month old batteries on the shelf. Martin Australia
