Update on my PC680 replacement battery - I ordered a new one direct from
the factory last Thursday, mainly to ensure that the new battery would
be fresh off the line. I've been wondering if it shipped, as I've heard
nothing from them, but received notification today that it had finally
shipped. It blows my mind that it could take 6 days for them to
actually ship the new battery to me, so be advised, if you're in a
hurry, don't buy direct from the the factory! My last one came from
Summit Racing in Georgia, and it was delivered overnight by regular UPS.
Just something else to consider, if flying is important to you. It's
worth mentioning that Odyssey apparently contracts their outside
ordering and shipping through a third party company, but apparently
there's quite a time warp between the two....
