My experience is similar to Jeff's.  I recently replaced my PC680 that was 5 years old.  That battery sat for several months on the engine rebuild a couple years back.  Most of my flying buddies us them and get 5 to 6 years service.  I'll have to check the "only one warranty replacement" mentioned earlier.  I'm thinking a reputable dealer would make good unless there is noticeable abuse.
