I need to add another thumbs up for the uAvionics systems. I installed a Sky
Beacon on my KR2S Wing tip last weekend with minimal effort. It was the UAT
version. It has the GPS built in and cost was $1849 through Aircraft Spruce. It
is only ADSB out, but that is fine as I am already running a Stratux in. I
already had a Mode C transponder in my airplane. Simple install right over the
old Nav light. I used my IPhone to configure the unit for my airplane. I flew a
short flight and received a FAA performance report with no issues.
