Thanks, you sure have a beautiful bird. I planned on adding the extra width to the HS and keeping the elevator area the same as plans. I wasn’t planning on moving the firewall forward at all but wanted to add the extra bay to the rear like you did. The reasons I wanted more wing span was to add more fuel and for high altitude cruising stability and planned on shortening the ailerons and moving them outward to add as much flaps as I could. I have a 2100’ grass strip by my farm and wanted to operate out of there only when light and solo. We commute from Ohio to the Florida panhandle and I would love to use the plane for the trip of 680sm. Do you happen to know the weight of your engine full on fluids with mount and everything to run bolted in place?
