I don't think he said the engine was heavy, but only that it was 150 hp.  
Guessing Yamaha engine, but just a shot in the dark guess.  Kevin in

recall that attended the Gathering in Red Oak, Iowa but it had a totally 
redesigned structure and wasn't really that fast for the horsepower.  I'm not 
an engineer but I'd hesitate pushing beyond the 2S structure and a moderate 
weight 100 to125 hp engine.  I think the design in it's somewhat original form
