hi larry,
I heard about this reininforcment. I thought I dont need to do it....till I 
testd the system 2 months ago. With the first brake test I bend the hole foot 
system. 
Ordered new tube an made a new foot system with stronger tubes (1.5mm wall) 
feels now oke....but cost about 300gr.
