If your rudder pedals are attached to the floor, an angled solid wood
block epoxied to the floor might be sufficient. My pedals are attached
to the upper firewall box and hang down.
http://myplace.frontier.com/~flesner/brakes1.jpg I use the
bottom end of the pedal assembly hitting the firewall as a rudder stop.
With nothing attached to the floor I can extend my leg in cruise with my
feet against the firewall and
it's like setting in my recliner.
