Speaking of the rudder system, I'll repeat a "heads up" from several years back. I recommend you re-enforce the right pedal assembly with gussets at the 90 degree corners. I had mine break, on the ramp fortunately, at Langford's airport. The left pedal has very little stress at the welds as the cable is attached on the vertical above, or in my case, below the corner. The right pedal has all the stress (flex) going through two 90 degree corners to the cable on the right side of the fuselage. I had somewhere around 500 to 600 hours on the KR when mine broke. Mark and I removed it and Mark did a re-weld to get me home. I later added gussets for more strength.
